Celera Genomics To Webcast Presentation At Banc Of America Health Care Conference

Rockville, MD - May 17, 2004

Celera Genomics Group (NYSE:CRA), an Applera Corporation business, will webcast its presentation at the Banc of America Health Care Conference on Friday, May 21, 2004. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. PT. Robert Booth, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer of Celera Genomics, will provide an overview of the business with a focus on therapeutic discovery and development programs at Celera Genomics.
